Bouncing Castle/Carousel/Inflatable Slide Operating Instructions And
User Agreement
The Bouncing Castle must never be operated without Adult Supervision!
The following rules must be read, understood and adhered to during the Rental
Period.
The rental agreement must be signed on or before the day reserved. Download
a printable copy here.
- Location chosen must be relatively flat, and a smooth surface approximately
20 x 20 (concrete, pavement, grass, NO GRAVEL PLEASE), free from any
overhead or side obstructions and less than 80feet from a grounded 110
volt electrical outlet on a dedicated 20 amp circuit.
- Always separate children by age groups, if only one unit is being operated
for a large party. This may be accomplished by forming separate lines
and posting signs designating height or age groups. An adult should
always supervise the unit. The attendant must stand at the entrance
of the unit and watch the children. He or She must help them, especially
small ones, in and out of the unit. Never exceed the capacity of the
unit.
- The maximum number of participants (unit capacity), based on groups
of children separated by age group. Industry dictates the following
for safety.
- A 13' x 13' moonwalk:
- For children under the age of 8 years old; no more than 8
children at one time.
- For children 9-12: no more than 6 children at one time.
- Adults and teens: no more than 3 at one time.
- A 16' x 16' moonwalk:
- Under 8 years old: no more than 12 children at one time.
- For children 9-12: no more than 10 children at one time.
- Adults and teens: no more than 5 at one time.
- Slides:
- Slides are typically designed for one to two sliders at a
time, depending on the width of the sliding surface.
- No one should enter an air-inflated unit wearing shoes, or possessing
any sharp objects, including anything in the pockets or attached to
clothing.
- Absolutely NO Food, drink, gum or silly string inside the bounce house.
Silly String WILL Damage the Inflatable Units, Bounce House, Slides and
you will be responsible for damages.
- Do not allow climbing on Unit or netting of equipment by persons inside or
outside of the Bounce House.
- Do not jump on inflatable step area of Unit.
- Do not put water inside of Bounce House.
- Do not allow food, drinks, confetti or trash of any kind in Bounce
House.
- No one should engage in horseplay, rough or aggressive behavior, flips,
stunts, wrestling or any other behavior that could lead to physical
injury.
- No one should touch or move the blower assembly, untie the air hoses
or disconnect the electricity after the air inflated bounce unit is
up and in use.
- STOP the children from bouncing and have them exit the bouncer if: winds
exceed 25 miles per hour, or if it starts raining. Turn the blower motor
off after the children exit and wait for the weather to subside. Turn
the blower back on and dry it off with towels if it is wet.
- Blowers run continuously when unit is in use. Be certain that all
release vents are kept tied in the closed position during operation.
If air pressure seems low, determine if the air supply chute (from blower
to unit) is straight, without bends, and securely tied around the neck
of the blower.
- If the blower stops, remove children from the unit, determine if the cord
is plugged in, then, if necessary, check the electrical panel box for a
tripped circuit breaker or blown fuse.
- If sudden severe weather or extremely high winds occur, remove children
from the unit, disconnect the blower, allow the unit to deflate and
do not resume operation until conditions improve.
- GR8 Jump Party Rentals is not responsible for any accidents or injuries.
It is the renters responsibility to control, operate and supervise all
activities in and around the Bounce House.
- Inflatable Unit will be anchored to the ground at all times with rope tied
to stakes or sandbags, and should never be untied.
